Wreaths, Bath Fizzes & lots of laughs

We had our monthly Pinterest party last night.  We had some drinks, made a big mess, and had a lot of fun.  On the agenda was wreaths and bath fizzes.  Some of our bath fizzes didn't come out of the molds.  We recommend that you use a rubber mold as those seem to come out easier and make sure you tightly pack the mixture in the molds.  Also, make sure that the mold you are using is completely dry otherwise the mixture will start to fizz when you put it in the mold.  All the wreaths turned out great.  There were a few burns from the glue guns, but everyone survived.

Changing the world one pin at a time.

Overall Rating:  The jury is still out on this one.

Danielle did a succulent wreath.  It turned out great.  She recommends just pushing the succulents through the wreath rather than gluing them on there.

Mollie made two wreaths.  She plans on hanging this wreath on her front door.  She added her own personal touch by putting her name on the wreath instead of her house number.

Mollie also made a Burlap wreath.  She ran out of ribbon so it's not quite finished, but it looks great so far.

Ashlei did her take on a Butterfly wreath.  She went the cheap route and bought a small wreath at the dollar store. She used wire to make a bigger outside circle and hot glued wire to attach the two rings together to make up the wreath. She wrapped the whole thing in tin foil to give it a shiny look and something to glue the moss to. She also used dried flowers and made her own butterfly out of tin foil, tissue paper and wire.

I made a Burlap wreath.  I used the gingham ribbon to hang it from my door, which added a nice touch.  I also made one without the house numbers for my mother-in-law.
